Dear Family and Friends,

This past year has led me to prioritize what matters most: the welfare and health of my family and my friends. So too, I have prioritized my commitment to actively engage in efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive community, where diverse cultures and voices are valued and embraced.

I know you share these ideals as well and that is why I am reaching out to you to join me in supporting the work of the Chicago Cultural Alliance. I am humbled to serve as the Board President of the Alliance. Our mission is to connect, promote and support centers of cultural heritage for a more inclusive Chicago.

On June 15th the Alliance will celebrate MOSAIC, our annual fundraiser and we are excited to take you on a virtual journey to Chicago’s neighborhoods to help experience the diverse voices and communities of our members and awardees from the North, South and West Sides of Chicago.  Our amazing Core Members will serve as our “virtual tour guides” inviting MOSAIC guests to explore their museums and centers as they continue to open their spaces to the public.

In challenging times, what brings hope and strength to our community is our ability to stand together and support one another.

I am passionate about this critical effort and urge you to join with me to reach my personal goal of raising $2,000 to support the vital work of the Chicago Cultural Alliance. As I hope you will have the chance to personally experience, MOSAIC is truly one of Chicago’s most unique cultural celebrations. It is also the Alliance’s most significant fundraiser providing a substantial portion of our operating funds each year.
