I am proud to serve as a Board Member of the Chicago Cultural Alliance. The CCA is the only organization of its kind in the US, a consortium of over 40 Chicago-area cultural heritage institutions representing more than 30 cultures from around the world. The CCA creates programming and services that celebrate diversity, preserve history, and honor tradition while amplifying cultural collaboration.

Our Members preserve and protect authentic cultural perspectives that shape the collective history of our region. This year's Journey Chicago festival in October showcased events co-hosted by 25 Members of the CCA, creating collaborative programs that shared the art, food, stories, and performance of their cultures together. Cross-cultural dialogue builds bridges and connects communities. We need this now more than ever, and it is at the heart of the CCA's work.
